Why Shine
Most fitness studios are built around equipment. Shine is built around stagecraft. Founded in 2012 by Dima Bulkin and Russ Petroni, our studio brings the discipline, safety standards, and joy of Cirque du Soleil into approachable classes for everyday adults.
Over 14 years in Las Vegas
We opened on Leap Day 2012 at 6415 S Tenaya Way, Suite 100. Same studio, same neighborhood, more than a decade of welcoming first-timers, fitness regulars, and anyone curious about aerial or pole fitness in Las Vegas.
Built by Cirque du Soleil veterans
Co-owner Dima Shine was a solo artist in Cirque du Soleil's Zumanity from 2010 to 2018, a World Champion in Sports Acro, and a Cirque de Demain Gold winner. Co-owner Russ Petroni spent 15 years at Cirque du Soleil, producing One Night for ONE DROP and designing the VIP-experience playbook for Cirque shows including Beatles LOVE and Zumanity.
Small classes, real instructors
Classes are taught by a working or former aerial, pole, or circus performer. We keep class sizes small so you get hands-on coaching from your first inversion to your first pole climb.

Shine Alternative Fitness opened on Leap Day 2012 in southwest Las Vegas — 14 years of aerial silks, aerial yoga, pole fitness, aerial hoop, flexibility, handstand, and Xtreme Boxing classes for adults of every fitness level. Our instructors include a World Champion in Sports Acro and Cirque du Soleil veterans. First class is $10.

Working aerialists, pole performers, circus artists, and former Cirque du Soleil cast members. Every Shine instructor brings stage-tested expertise to small group classes — typically 4–8 students per class.

DesNo. Most of our classes — aerial yoga, pole fitness, aerial silks — have an Intro version designed for complete beginners. Your first class is $10.

Aerial yoga and aerial classes: leggings or shorts, fitted tank or sports bra, bare feet. Pole fitness: shorts (bare skin grips the pole) and a fitted top. Boxing: workout clothes and supportive shoes. We keep a small retail wall for anything you forget.
