LYRA Classes Las Vegas
Lyra Classes from First-Time Beginners to Advanced
Aerial Hoop — Strength, Grace, and Pure Fun
The aerial hoop, also known as the lyra, is a steel ring suspended from the ceiling on which students perform poses, spins, and dynamic sequences. It's part circus art, part fitness, part dance — and it's one of the most visually impressive skills you can develop at any level.
At Shine Alternative Fitness, our aerial hoop classes in Las Vegas teach proper technique, safe mounting and dismounting, and a progressive curriculum of poses and movements that you'll be proud to show off.
Who Is This Class For?
Aerial hoop is open to all levels. Beginners start with foundational mounts, basic poses, and building the upper body strength needed to progress. More experienced students develop dynamic sequences, spins, and drops. No prior circus or dance training is required.
What to Wear
Wear form-fitting clothing that covers the backs of your knees and inner thighs — these areas contact the hoop most frequently. Leggings and a fitted top are ideal. No jewelry or loose clothing. Intro to Aerial Fitness
